With this activity, you are expected to achieve the following learning
outcomes:

Learning outcome 1: To use a basic repertoire of simple words and phrases related to
your personal data and specific situations through short written communicative acts.

Learning outcome 3: To comprehend basic familiar names, words, and simple


sentences from written sources such as posters, catalogues, and basic written news.

The activity consists of:

1. Go to the contents of Unit 3., check the OVA Simple Past tense.

2. Writing – From 16th April to 30h April

Write a short list of five things you did last week and 3 things you didn’t do
last week. Remember to use the verbs in past and to use a time expression:
last week, last Monday, last weekend, etc. Post your list in the Discussion
Forum timely.

3. Reading
Marie Sklodowska (Marie Curie) was a famous scientist. She was

She studied Physics and mathematics at the Sorbonne University in
Paris. She married Pierre Curie in (3) ___1895____. Together the y

In 1903, the Curies received the Nobel Prize for Physics. Pierre died
