SAPANG MARAGUL INTEGRATED SCHOOL
BARANGAY SAPANG MARAGUL, TARLAC CITY
First of all, I would like to greet our very dynamic and intelligent OIC PSDS Dr. Reymar
Paguio, good afternoon Sir. To the men and women behind the School- Based
Management Report of Accomplishment and Display of MOVs, the very workaholic
teaching staff of SMIS, I am pleased to lead you one more time in this very challenging
yet fulfilling endeavor.
I must say School Year 2019-2020 is the best year of my life as a school head. This is
because we as a team, accomplished things I never imagined we could.
Madam Lala
Madam Jannette
The dream project of concrete pavement of the proposed parking area was made
possible through the joint efforts of Gov. Susan Yap, Mayor Cristy Angeles, GPTA and
Alumni Officers and the School MOOE.
The much talked about well attended and very successful 1 st Grand Alumni
Homecoming was participated by almost all batches including Batch 1968 as the oldest
attendees happened in 2019. Thousands of graduates of SMES attended the event
which generated funds for the purchase of several projects dedicated for the
improvement of instruction and other school facilities.
The school continues to improve and achieved many milestones through the support of
stakeholders who continuously believing in our leadership.
We achieved several awards in 2019, both in the district and in the division
- Best Math
- Best ICT
- Best etc
But the most fulfilling of all, as I said it before, and I’ll say it proudly again today… my
legacy - the conversion of Sapang Maragul ES to Sapang Maragul IS. In June 2019,
the first batch of Junior High School students were given the most awaited permit to
enroll and continue their education nearby them.
Why am I saying all of this? Because I want you all to know that we have come this far
because of School- based Management. We may not have all the documents on hand
because of utterly poor records keeping due to our busy schedule but believe me, for
me, as your school head for more or less 5 years, our school community deserves to
have an outstanding rating. As the African proverb goes “It takes a village to raise a
child.” Hence, we are all gathering here today and extending invaluable efforts and
services as the flagbearers of the phrase “Para Sa Bata, Para Sa Bayan. Sulong
Edukalidad.” I am forever privileged that I am a part of the village, educating children
who will be the catalysts of change. Change, as in making their future brighter for
themselves and for their generations to come. With this goal magnitude, we welcome
the challenges of SBM. Welcome once again to the humble Sapang Maragul Integrated
School.
