During the ancient times, life was so simple yet challenging because of the battle to

survive in the daily basis of their lives. The unlimited needs of each individual would not be
sustained if they won’t perform their duty as a human being. As time passed by, with the rapid
advancing of technology, life switched from the complicated to the more convenient one. Our
present generation is far away more convenient than in the ancient times. The following are the
examples of the differences of activities during the primitive and our present time:
1. Food: During the primitive or the ancient times, they hunt animals and plant crops
manually in order to gather food. They also catch fishes in the ponds and rivers in
their place using arrows, spears and quivers, whereas; in the present time, we also
plant crops in order to harvest foods but planting and harvesting of crops became
more convenient with the help of modern equipments such as tractors, plows and
fertilizer spreaders. We also use modern fishing equipments that made it easier for
fishermen to catch fishes.
2. Dance: For the ancient times, most of their activities like dancing are for
communication purposes with the gods of nature. They dance as a form of worship,
rituals, celebrations and battles. In the same manner; in our present times, dancing is
also used in various purposes such as entertainment and it is still used as a form of
worship in some tribal groups.
3. Constructions: During the ancient times, building establishments is not an easy thing
to do because they only have horses and ox to carry materials whereas in the present
times, building large establishments are made easier by the modern automobiles and
machines.
4. Sports: The early times mainly use sport as a preparation and as a training for battles
against their enemies while in the present times, it is used for entertainment & for
strength trainings against other teams or countries.
5. Communication: During the primitive times, they communicate through symbols
and body language whereas in the present times, there are so many means of
communication with the help of technology such as social media platforms and
emails.
6. Transportation: In the early times, walking is the main form of transportation and
they naturally have great endurance when walking several miles while in the present
generation, we usually ride in any means of transportation like motorcycles and cars
to get into our destinations.
