When and the parental attitude of his mom the issuance of report cards came, Sean caused his reading problem. received poor marks in the major subjects particularly in Reading.
Mae is in Mr. Bernardo’s Grade 5 class. She has
had difficulty in learning to read. Even in the second grade she only reads about the preschool level. When she was asked about the Poor attitude towards reading of Mae print materials she preferred to read, she said and family-based risk factor wherein their she liked playing with dolls instead and browsing home is not conducive for learning and over fashion magazines. She also said that her reading caused her reading problem. brothers always played loud music at home; hence she could not concentrate on what she read.
Renz was born in Cebu and migrated to Manila.
He is now in Grade 4 and is reading in English at about third level. Although he can understand Language mismatched between spoken English and uses it rarely, he still prefers to nonstandard dialect and printed standard speak using Filipino in many situations including English in books used in his lessons in school.
