Civil Scope of works

1 Excavation works
a) Excavation in Foundation in ordinary soil (loam, clay or sand) including lift upto 1.5 M,
dressing, dewatering (if any) and disposal of surplus earth upto a distance of 50M from
excavated area. Cum

2 Anti-termite Treatment
Providing and injecting chemical emulsion of approved manufacturer for Pre-
construction Anti-termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier in Basement area.
by treating at the rate of 5 liters of an emulsion concentrate of one percent
concentration of Chlorpyriphos / Lindane 20% EC ISI approved conforming (IS: 8944). The
scope includes supplying of all relevant materials, labours and tools and tackles to
complete the entire scope of work as directed by Engineer In Charge. Sqm
3 Back filling
a) Filling with available soil in layers should not exceeding 150mm in thickness including
watering and compaction and cost of all materials, machinery & labour charges
complete for item of work. The scope includes to provide water, all require manpower's,
machineries and tools to complete the task as per Engineer In charge. Cum
b) Filling with brought out soil (From Borrow area) in layers should not exceeding 150mm in
thickness including watering and compaction and cost of all materials, machinery &

4 Concrete works
Charges for Mixing, Pouring, Compaction, levelling, Finishing and Curing of PCC & RCC
works as per approved concrete mix to various structures and components with casting
of concrete cubes. The scope includes to provide the relevant manpowers, Machineries
(i.e - Concrete Mixer Machine, Concrete Lifting Machines, Vibrators with Needles etc.)
and Tools to complete the entire scope of work as per approved drawings and Engineer
instructions etc. The raw materials i.e - Cement, Sand, Aggregates and Concrete
admixture chemical will be provided by NCC Ltd.
a) PCC 1:4:8 Mix by using 40mm & 20mm Aggregates for below Foundations and Plinth
Beams. Cum
b) RCC 1:2:4 Mix by using 20mm & 10/12 mm Aggregates - Column and Beams, Slab & Wall
etc. Cum
c) Lifting Charges for above 4M to 20 M (Applicable for only Over Head Tank) with the help
of Concrete winch, etc. Cum
5 Reinforcement works
Cutting, bending and Fixing the Reinforcement steel as per approved barbending
schedule, drawings for Various structures and components including Lead and Lifting.
The Scope includes to provide relevant skilled manpowers, machineries, tools, binding
wire as per specification to complete the scope of work as per Engineer Instructions. The
Reinforcement steel with maximum wastage of 3% will be provided by NCC.

6 Shuttering works
Providing Staging and Shuttering of Foundations, Columns, Walls, Beams and Slabs in
various structures. The scope includes to provide the stagging, shutterng and de-
shuttering works to complete the scope of works as per Engineer Instructions. The
relevant form work and staging materials, labours and hand tools for entire works will be
under sub-contractor scope.
The sub-contractor shall be used for good quality water proof plywood sheets / Standard
MS Plate for shuttering and Jack Props and MS Cuplock Scafolding Pipe for Staging,
strutting, propping, bracing etc.

7 Brick works
Construction of Brick work in C.M 1:6 (As per approved mix) in Brick Foundation, sub-
structure and superstructure works. The scope includes to supply the Material (Excluding
Cement and Sand), Provide the manpowers, tools and tackles including staging or
supports for the work as per approved drawings and Engineer instruction to complete
the entire scope of works. Cement and Sand will be supplied by NCC as per standard
allowable wastage only.

8 Plastering works
Charges for Mixing, Carrying and Applying the Plastering works 12mm thk with C.M 1:6
approved mix to various structures. The scope includes to supply the Material (Excluding
Cement and Sand), provide the manpowers, tools and tackles including staging or
supports for the work as per approved drawings and Engineer instruction to complete
the entire scope of works. Cement and Sand will be supplied by NCC as per Standard
allowable wastage only.
a) Plastering - Wall / Ceiling - 12mm Sqm

9 Brick work Pointing
Pointing on brick work with cement mortar 1:3 (1Cement :3 Fine Sand) Sqm
10 Cement Flooring
a) Charges for Mixing, Carrying and Laying the 25mm thk Concrete Flooring 1:2:4 mix with
Smooth Cement Finishing in C.M 1:4. The scope includes to supply the Material
(Excluding Cement, Sand & Aggregate), provide the manpowers, tools and tackles
including staging or supports for the work as per approved drawings and Engineer
instruction to complete the entire scope of works. Cement and Sand will be supplied by
NCC as per Standard allowable wastage only. Sqm
11 MS Structural Steel works
a) Fabrication, Lead, Lift and Fixing the MS steel works in Gates, Doors and windows frame
and shutters and Grill etc. as per drawings. The scope includes to provide all the required
manpower, tools and machineries to complete the above scope of works as directed by
Engineer In charge.
The Material will be supplied by NCC and the contractor's are permissible to allow the
wastage should not exceed 3%. Kgs

12 G.I Hand railing
Supplying, Fabrication, Lead, Lift and Fixing the G.I Pipe Handrail to OHT as per
approved drawings and finishing as per engineer instructions. The scope includes to
provide all the required Materials, manpower, tools and machineries to complete the
above scope of works as directed by Engineer In charge.

13 Brick bat Waterproofing
a) Providing and laying "brickcoba" 12 mm thick laid with M-150 class brick bat coba
7.50cm thick with gap of 15mm to each other, over 20mm thick base of cement mortar
1:4 cement and coarse sand mixed with water proofing compound spreding cement
slurry mixed with acrelic cement concrete water proofing compound filled gaps of coba
& top of coba mortar mixed with water proofing compound in 1:4 cement and coarse
sand mortar finished smooth & top mashed false square 30cmX30cm and side wall
parapet shall be mono tythic plaster wall upto 30cm higher and junction and corner shall
be rounded by brick ballast cement and coarse sand masonary coba with top finished
plaster mixed with acetic water proofing compound @ 2% by weight & including supply
of all material, labour, T&P etc complete for proper completion of work.

14 Pavement works
a) Construction of Interlocking pavement (Concrete Pavers 60mm thk) with over 25mm thk
compacted local sand base for Internal approach road, as per departmental type design
and drawing and as per specifications laid down in the bid document, including supply of
all materials , labour, T&P etc.required for proper completion of work as per instructions
of Engineer -in -charge. Sqm
b) Construction of Granular sub-base (GSB) by providing coarse graded material, spreading
in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method
with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired
density, complete as per clause 401 of Morth. Cum
c) Construction of WBM by providing grade materials, spreading in uniform layers including
watering and compaction complete. Cum
15 Painting works
a) Providing and applying the one coat of wall primer and two coats of approved make
tractor distemper paints. The scope includes to preparation works, appying primer and
distemper including to fix the proper staging or supports for the work as per direction of
Engineer incharge to complete the work.

1 Payment will be made based on actual work done only.
