GUIDELINES FOR EET SPEAKING TEST (STUDENT)

1. Go to UFUTURE.
2. Select EET699. Choose Online Class.
3. Sign in for ATTENDANCE (opens 15 minutes before and closes after test starts: i.e. 8.15am to
8.45.am)
4. Click on the Google Meet link. https://meet.google.com/vip-mfkf-ftv
5. Only ONE student is allowed to be in Google Meet during the speaking test (according to the
schedule).
6. The student should prepare a piece of paper and pen/pencil to write notes for presentation.
7. The student is required to fill in ACADEMIC INTEGRITY DECLARATION form. QR Code is given
in Google Meet.
8. Make sure the MIC and CAMERA are ON.
9. The test session is RECORDED.
10. The student is required to IDENTIFY him/herself by stating:
a) Name
b) Student ID
c) Group
d) Faculty
e) Campus
11. When everything is ready, the speaking question is shared with the student.
12. The test starts when the examiner clicks on the PLAY button.
13. LISTEN or READ the question before preparing the answer.
14. When the preparation time is over, there is a BEEP sound for the student to START
RESPONDING.
15. There are 5 QUESTIONS altogether.
Task 1: 20 seconds prepare, 1 minute respond
Task 2a: 10 seconds prepare, 1 minute respond
Task 2b: 20 seconds prepare, 2 minutes respond
Task 2c: 30 seconds prepare, 2 minutes respond
Task 3: 60 seconds prepare, 3 minutes respond
16. When the test is completed, the student LEAVES the session.
