Present a song entitled “Matter” to the Class.
In tune of “Sugar by Maroon 5”.
Oh Learning Science, About Matter
It got three phases, you’ll learn it too
Oh the importance, of each phases
To your surroundings, Oh me and you

I don’t wanna ignore the fact


That science is really exact
To the matter that always reacts
Oh, Science (2x)

Solid, a phase that is really hard and compacted


Liquid, fluid that conforms to shapes like droplet
Oh, you show me the science, explain the process
Scientific basis and theories
Lastly, the Gas is light, and moves freely

Questions:
1. What is title of the Song presented?
2. What are three phases of matter mentioned in the song?
3. Can you explain the characteristic of each phases?

B. EXPLORE
Present 3 different objects in the class. Let them observe and list down all of their observations.
Call 3 pupils to explain their own observations from the presented materials in the front of the class.
