These

9 circuit tasks are fantastic for any Soccer P.E session and grade level,
and can be setup out on the field or in the gym.


› Pick and choose any or all of the tasks below, and add in some of your own as well
› Divide the class into 2-3 groups - Setup the same circuit for each group
- Or layout 2 different circuits, and after 10 minutes, have the groups switch

- Then demonstrate to the class (you can use a student)
- Encourage the students not to rush through the exercises
› You can also print out the circuit cards and put them at each task


› Have students complete the tasks in their groups:
› The 1st player in the group starts. Once they reach the 2nd activity, the next player in the line
can then begin.
- Either give a time limit (e.g 10 mins) to complete as many rounds through as a group
- or – Have a speed run, where it’s the 1st group to all complete the circuits 3 times

› Weave to dribble in and out of the cones


1. Tap the top of the ball with 1 foot
- Use both feet to control it 2. Quickly switch feet to tap with the other
› Compete 10 times

1. Roll the ball to the cone using the › Tap the ball left and right using the
sole of your foot inside part of your feet
2. At the next cone, switch feet › Complete 10 times

› Flick the ball up and over each hurdle › Weave and out of the poles
› Get under the ball using the tip of your foot without touching them

› Step over the ball without touching it › Dribble through each gate
› Alternate feet each time (5 times) without touching the cones

› From the cones, shoot into the goal
