Dribbling Like Costa

Monday – Costa Dribbling and Ball Mastery

The theme of all our programs is to encourage attack minded, con-

fident soccer players who are as
comfortable on the ball as they are off it so who better to emulate
than Douglas Costa, the world’s best players.

We start the week learning a range of individual skills and provid-

ing the necessary sessions to develop close control and dribbling
skills.
The warm-up consists of learning to use multiple
surfaces, most notably the extra use of the sole, in an energetic en-
vironment. This warm-up will be used through the rest of the week
to drill in good habits.

Session 1 will focus on the feel of the ball, close

control and the introduction of tricks and moves in both unop-
posed and opposed activities whilst session 2 will introduce drib-
bling and running with the ball. This will also provide the chance
for players to use the skills learnt earlier in the day.
