Evaluation and Recommendations

A. Findings

Based on the data representation of all the problems that we have encountered
during the implementation of our activities, a problem that rose to 55% of occurrence
was found to be the fewer interactions that we got from the audience on our featured IG
stories. Meanwhile, failure to reach participants in our DIY activities and failure to
collaborate with other similar organizations both got 23% of occurrence.

Figure 1. Percentage of Occurrence of Problems in Project Implementation

The most occurring problem that we encountered with regards to our
implementation of environmental-related activities is the failure of having participants for
our DIY activity which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of 3R's. This
problem has occurred on five times according to our activity reports. Among the 5 DIY
activities that we posted, none of our followers, most especially the parents who are our
targeted audience for this activity, were able to participate. Among the 5 DIY activities

problem that took place during the implementation of our environmental activities of
which it has also occurred five times based on our activity reports. There were 3
environmental organizations and 2 eco-friendly businesses who directly messaged us to
collaborate with them in which we failed to do so.

B. Recommendations

From the findings, there are three problems that occurred from the activity
reports. The alternative course of action to solve the following problems will be
suggested in the recommendation.

Problem Cause(s) Recommendation

action to solve)

contents for our approach other similar
implemented activities organizations to
collaborate with them and
help each other to reach
our goals.

C. Conclusion
We think that the issues and findings we have encountered are not surprising
provided that our time frame is not enough. Moreover, the scope of our audience is
relatively smaller compared to other organizations. Most of the accounts that followed
our page are also organizations with the same advocacy as us. This is the reason why
we failed to reach our targeted audiences. Additionally, these organizations who
followed us were also busy promoting their own page and creating their contents which
made it not possible for us to have an active interaction with one another. There is also
a problem of lack of time to properly expand our reach. We neglected to promote our
page properly because we were solely focused on researching and making contents for
our activities. Even though we faced quite a bit of problems, we believe that our actions
to promote environmental awareness were not wasted. We believe that our advocacy
still helped people be more conscious of what they do that might possibly affect our
environment and encouraged them to adopt an environment-friendly lifestyle. The
efforts we made into researching credible and factual information and providing
contents were not for naught. Through this, a lot of people learned and became much
more aware about the importance of taking care of our environment. They were also
able to learn effective ways they can do to help our environment. Despite these
problems, we still successfully conducted our activities. The process was not easy due
to factors such as balancing and managing our time as students, but we still managed
to finished our implementation tasks accordingly. We firmly believe that our little steps
can bring about change and how these small changes affect a bigger whole.
