The two-day national conference on “Recent trends in renewable energy and advancement in engineering and
technology (RTREAET-2020)” was organized by EEE and ECE department of Mewat engineering college from
27th Aug, 2020 to 28th Aug, 2020, catalysed and supported by Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency
(HAREDA). This program was based on online mode. Prof (Dr.) Khwaja M. Rafi, Director, Mewat Engineering
College, started the program with welcome note followed by Deep Ujawalan and recitation of Holy Quran.

Faculties, research scholars and students from reputed institutions presented their ideas, papers on recent trends
in renewable energy and advancement in engineering and technology that may be beneficial for upliftment of
the society.

 The two-day national conference (online) on “Recent trends in renewable energy and
advancement in engineering and technology (RTREAET-2020)” was jointly organized by EEE
and ECE department of Mewat engineering college from 1 st and 2nd September, 2020, catalysed
and supported by Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA). This program
was based on online mode.
Prof (Dr.) Khwaja M. Rafi, Director, Mewat Engineering College, started the program with
welcome note followed by Deep Ujawalan and recitation of Holy Quran.

Dr. Hanif Qureshi, IPS, Director General, HAREDA, was chief guest of the event. Prof. Majid
Jamil, Prof. S.K Chakravati and Dr. Imtiaz Ashraf was the invited speakers for the event.
Faculties, research scholars and students from reputed institutions presented their ideas, papers
on recent trends in renewable energy and advancement in engineering and technology that may
be beneficial for upliftment of the society.

Prof (Dr.) Khwaja M. Rafi, Director, Mewat Engineering College, with program coordinators Dr.
Shaheen Khan, HoD ECE and Dr. Tazeem Khan, HoD EEE department distributed trophy and
mugs for the organizing team members.

CONCLUSION

Overall conference was informative. It’s a time to think and work on renewable energy
resources as the traditional resources can be devastated and they also produce more pollution
as well. Solar energy and wind energy can be good resource to generate energy and control
pollution.

OUTCOMES

The conference gives us the idea about recent trends in renewable energy and advancement
in engineering and technology which will help our students for future jobs or research ideas
in renewable energy.
