PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING ASSEMBLY!

References to right and left are determined by standing at the rear of the machine and facing the direction of travel.

NOTE: Using the hardware torque chart, torque all hardware to the specified torque unless otherwise specified within
the instructions.
NOTE: Using the hydraulic fitting torque chart, torque all fittings to the specified torque unless otherwise specified
within the instructions.

NOTICE: Do not tighten the hardware until instructed to in the assembly instructions.

NOTICE: Be sure to use the hardware specified when using tapped holes as trying to install a metric bolt in an inch
thread or an inch bolt in a metric thread will damage the threads.

625 MODULE EXPRESS, 635 MODULE EXPRESS

1. Install compactor lower stop (2) on top of original

mount using the original hardware as shown.

93100528 1

2. Remove the bellows rods labeled as (A) from both

sides of the machine.

93100529 2

3. Remove the front wall of the module chamber and

remove the front angle that it attaches to. Once this
is removed install the new angle (4), and reattach the
front wall.

93100530 3

3-6
3 - ASSEMBLY

4. Remove both left hand and right hand support brack-

ets and replace them with (5) and (6) respectively.
Reuse current hardware except for the bolt that runs
through the slot shown. These will be replaced with
the 5/16 x 1.5in bolts (13) supplied in the kit.

93100531 4

5. Remove the plate on the top of the bellows and re-

place it with (7).

93100532 5

6. Drill a 15 mm hole in the floor of the inlet using the

left hand and right hand support brackets as a tem-
plate. This hole will line up with the hole in the newly
installed top plate. DO NOT drill a new hole in the
new top plate.
7. The new bellows rods (8), will have shorter threads
on one side than the other.

93100533 6

8. Install the lock nut (15) on the long threaded end of

the rods just so it is on a couple of turns. Once the
nut is on slide on a thick flat washer (16) and three
springs (9) on each of the four rods

3-7
3 - ASSEMBLY

9. Add a washer (16) to the top of the springs and install

the rods through the new hole in the rear of the bel-
lows and the hole in the front of the bellows. The rod
should push up through the support and the plate on
the top of the bellows. Once it is through put the lock
nut (15) on the top of the rod tightening it until the
top is flush with the end of the threads. Make sure
that you do not use any of the holes that the previous
rods were in.

93100534 7

10. Remove the position sensor shown in Figure 8 on

both sides of the module chamber. Once removed in-
stall the spacer block (3) so that the new holes for the
position sensor are closer to the center of the module
chamber. Once this is done install the position sen-
sor on the new spacer. DO NOT let the sensor rod
spin around while it is removed as it could damage
the sensor.

93100535 8

11. Install the compactor cylinder fittings, tube, spacer,

and clamp onto the new shorter compactor cylinder
(1). Tie the rod end of the cylinder to the rest of the
cylinder to make sure it doesn’t move during instal-
lation

CLIPBOARD09 9

12. Make sure that the compactor is setting on the bot-

tom stops. WHEN PUTTING THE COMPACTOR
DOWN TO THE STOPS MAKE SURE NOT TO
PUSH THE LID UP. Remove the pin that connects
the compactor to the compactor cylinders
13. Start the engine and retract the cylinders until they
are both as short as possible. Once they are short-
ened turn off the engine and tie the rod end of the
cylinder to the rest of the cylinder so it doesn’t fall
when the lines are removed.
14. Remove the two hydraulic lines from the cylinder.
15. Remove the cylinder by removing the top pin of the
cylinder and lifting out of the top of the compactor.

3 - ASSEMBLY

16. Measure and drill a 32 mm (1.3 in) hole 300 mm

(11.8 in) down from the bottom of the cross bar on
the support frame, as shown with label (B). The hole
should be centered on the tube and should be drilled
all the way through on both vertical tubes as shown.

CLIPBOARD10 10

17. Install the new shorter cylinders. Attach the hydraulic

lines making sure that there is only one O-Ring in
each connection. Once the hydraulic lines are tight-
ened start the machine and purge the cylinders. This
is done by fully retracting the cylinders and holding
the retract button for 10 seconds. Then fully extend
the cylinders and hold the extend button for 10 sec-
onds. Repeat this cycle 3 times before continuing.
18. Once the cylinders are purged lower the rod end to
the bottom of the compactor-frame and install the
bottom pins
19. Using the service tool modify the following com-
pactor settings. TOP POSITION – CHANGE TO 6 WAS 1
MODULE FULL – CHANGE TO 30 WAS 24.
20. Recalibrate the chamber using the instructions in the
operators manual

NOTE: The cylinder stop (19) pin (20)and clip (22) are to be installed on the rod of the compactor cylinder for transport
only.
