A Prayer before Meeting

Heavenly Father, be present with us now.

Let our deliberations tend to your glory and the furtherance of
the Gospel.
Let our discussions be charitable and our conclusions fruitful.
May the breeze of your Holy Spirit breathe among us instead of
long-windedness, let there be no fighting of corners or
sacrificing long-term trust for short-term popularity.
In short, dear Father; may this end on time, with your kingdom
furthered.
Through the one who used few words but to great effect,
Jesus Christ our Lord.
