I chose my home in peaceful and relaxing places, not too isolated from society; and I didn’t
choose homes where I’m too isolated and the resources are rare.

A Peaceful, non-isolated, and healthy environment.

Round Robin-In your small group discuss the questions below. Once EVERYONE has shared,
write down any themes you hear from your group members.

1. How might climate & geography affect the type of housing people build?

If its a hot climate, the house which people build will have air conditioning. If it’s in a cold
climate, the house will be built with more heat-thermal material.
2. How might climate & geography affect the type of clothing people wear?

If it’s in a hot place, people will wear looser clothing such as shorts and tracksuits. But if it’s in a
cold place, people will wear warmer clothing.

It will depend on what people consider fun, and the sport they choose to play. If it’s more of a
winter sport like ski, a ski contest will be held in colder climates, and if its more of a summer
sport like soccer and baseball, it will be in hotter places.
