Glenshire Commons and Lake Association Board Meeting May 19, 2021

Present: Clark Ahlden, Lee Alexander, Pete Fernandes, Sharon Hecht, Susan Johnston, Chance
Riggins, and Judy Seyb.

Call to order: Susan called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. The minutes of the April 27th
2021 meeting were approved on a motion by Clark, seconded by Pete.

Treasurer’s Report: Chance provided a report. The property tax assessment was received and
will be paid. The insurance bill has been paid. He will continue with the process to re-register
the corporation with the State.

Lake Commons Maintenance: The old evergreen shrubs have been removed from two beds in
the commons area. The tree at 1410 Glenshire will be trimmed by Vickie and will continue to
be monitored. Susan has some small shrubs available which can ne planted in the ned at 4010
Danbury. The last of the goose nests were remove on May 16th.

Lake Maintenance: Susan and her husband have started algae treatment. A second
application of dye will be done soon.

Website: Lee reports no activity on the site. Lee has updated the site with the new minutes.

Reminders to Homeowners: Susan mailed out postcards to the homeowners reminding them
of the requirement to mow. When the grass and weeds reach higher than 9 inches, a warning
will go out, giving the owner 10 days to comply. If the property is not in compliance at 10 days,
we will arrange to mow the commons and a $25 fee will be added to the next annual
assessment. After the first notification, we may mow and assess a fee at any time when the
vegetation in the commons exceeds 9 inches. Two properties are currently out of compliance,
and Susan will send out warnings.

Next Meeting: The next meeting will be Wednesday, June 16th, at 6:30 pm on Sharon’s
property.

Susan adjourned the meeting at 7:15 pm.
