Glenshire Commons and Lake Association Board Meeting

Present: Clark Ahlden, Stephanie Brown, Judy Seyb, Susan Drozdz, Sharon
Hecht, Pete Fernandes, Jim Kaiser

Call to Order: Clark called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm.
Minutes: Minutes from the August 11, 2015 meeting were read. Susan
motioned to accept the minutes, Pete seconded, motion passed.
Treasurers Report: Paul was not present, no report was presented.
Landscaping and Commons: The board decided to have Brown-Woods
continue with the 2015 maintenance of commons area. Clark is getting
another bid for rebuilding selected beds. We will have a short meeting on
Monday September 14, 2015 at 5 pm at Sharons home to have Clark report
on other maintenance, bed removal and rebuilding estimates.
Staining of Docks: Pete will find out why the docks need to be restained.
He thinks Behr stain was used on the decks, a different stain was used on
the chairs, which seems to be holding up better, so perhaps use that stain
on the decks next time. We may also want an estimate from a different
company for this work.
Pond Control: Susan intends to treat the lake with dye in the coming
spring. Clark and Paul will order fish to restock the lake this fall.
Neighbors: no new neighbors.
Lake cookout: will be October 3rd at 4pm. Stephanie will print out flyers
with cookout information and also including information about the annual
meeting. The annual meeting will be October 6, 2015 at 6 pm at the south
dock. Judy and Sharon will hand deliver the flyers door to door.
Scouts: No news on the scouts.
Next Meetings: There will be a short board meeting on Monday September
14 at 5 pm at Sharons home. The annual meeting will be October 6, 2015
at 6pm at the south dock. The next regular board meeting will follow the
annual meeting at Sharons home.

Adjournment: Pete motioned to adjourn the meeting. Susan seconded. The

meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm.
