2. Apologies Were received from Jean, Chris Balsdon, Alison, Marion H, Rosemarie Haynes, Katy
Swift , Judith Forster, Gill Alexander, Liz Shepherd and Fiona, Elaine.
Our speaker was Debbie Brady who spoke about A Female in Fleet Street. It was
informative and fun with Sue trying on the heavy equipment associated with a
photographer on the hunt for a good photograph.
The feedback form was signed.
A reminder was issued to remember to sign in but not to sign in for other people unless
they were actually in the room.
The signup sheets for Additional Activities were highlighted
The bulb catalogue with instructions for payment arrived too late for the deadline. Our
meeting was 14th June but the deadline was 9th June. There were a couple of
disappointed gardeners. Dawn promised to see whether a late submission of the order was
possible.
5. Refreshment Break Many thanks to Liz H, Helen & Heather W for providing cake, tea and coffee.
Attention was drawn to the Minutes of last meeting that had been placed on the information
table and on the website.
Dawn delivered her report of the NFWI AGM. This report had already been distributed to the
other link WIs in the Link Group. A short discussion was held.
11 members went to the sparkling tea at Heather Walkers and had a wonderful time.
8. Forthcoming Events
The Craft Group - Craft Groups next meeting 22nd June. Venue will be emailed out to those
interested. Email Wycombe Wenches if you would like to be added to the list. Tracey spoke
about the current project.
Book Club The book clubs next meeting will be on 18th July discussing Learning to Swim by
Sara J Henry at Judiths home.
Bake & Share The next event will be 7th September with an Asian theme.
Trip to Blenheim on 5th July will leave HX Hub at 9.30am. All those going have been emailed
with the full details including cost etc
There is to be a Treasure Hunt of our own making on 20 July to finish with supper at The
Works. Members signed up and paid. Starting 5pm. More news to follow.
A trip to Mikron Theatre Company on 14th July in Bourne End has been booked for those who
were interested paid 12
August Social This year it will take place Totteridge Community Hall so that we are not caught
short with the weather. Members can bring soft drinks but would be encouraged to purchase
any alcohol from the bar to support the community centre. A tea cup and saucer flower
competition to be held and judged by Dawn. These would be used as table decorations. A prize
of flowers for the winner. A request for food will be at the next meeting for people to sign up
to.

Liverpool and the results of the resolutions..
