Thanks to almighty God for everything that he did for me. God let me to have courage
and strength as well precious health in the entire internship time and throughout my
life too.

 Abstract
This report covers my internship experience in FLINTSTONE ENGINEERING PLC
from February 08 2011 up to June 20, 2011 at Black lion hospital Kitchen building
project.

The black lion hospital Kitchen building project includes construction of a G+1 modern
kitchen at the back of existing kitchen, connecting the two kitchens by RC bridge and
converting the running kitchen into staff canteen. The project gets started by Flintstone
engineering as contractor, Abba architects as consultant and Black lion hospital as
employer.

During my stay in the project, I have tried to gather and exercise as many points as
possible both on office and site works.

The major site works that get accomplished in the project during my internship time
includes bulk excavation, setting out, pit excavation, construction of footing pad and
column, backfilling, construction of basement floor beams, hardcore, construction of
elevation columns and casting basement floor slab.

The major office works that I take part and lesson during my stay are: preparations of
different takeoff sheets, preparation of re-bar schedule, lesson on MS-project, preparation
of weekly and monthly report, preparation of payment certificate...

The internship time offered me a great deal of advantage in improving practical skills,
upgrading theoretical knowhow, improving interpersonal communication skills,
improving solution making skills and understanding work ethics related issues.
