Community Sensory Garden
The sensory garden is an environment designed to stimulate the senses. This stimulation
occurs through the use of plants and materials with a sense of sight, smell, touch, taste, and
sound. The garden lets you focus on one emotion. Alternatively, it can include all emotions,
used as an educational tool to explore and study emotions and nature, discover healthy places,
and provide therapeutic and safe methods. Let the participants explore their emotions.
Community Touch Gardens provides a healing environment for the entire Hanover
Park community.
Gardening can distract you and your thoughts about the situation.
