1. CALENDAR

This is the timing allowed to complete this training sequence. Trainees must manage themselves the off
duty periods as planned to prepare the next session but also to get proper rest before the session.

2.  SESSION SUMMARY

This session is dedicated to engine failure after V1, engine failure in cruise and emergency
descent.
We will teach those failures by repetition of the same event in order to memorize the
corresponding memory items, the flow of actions and the crew tasksharing.

3.  SESSION OBJECTIVES

• Engine failure at takeoff • ECAM management
• Engine failure in cruise
• Emergency descent
