TASK: The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies

over a period of 15 years.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make
comparisons where relevant.

The given graph illustrates how many tonnes of waste three company named A, B and C
generated from 2000 to 2015.
Overall, it is noticeable that while the figure for A and B witnessed significant decreases
throughout the 15-year period, the amount of waste emitted by company C accelerated
considerably. Another striking feature is that A waste production came top of the list in
2000 which was replaced by C at the end of the period.
The figure for A started at a staggering 12 tonnes, then steadily reduced by 1 tonnes per 5
years from 2000 to 2010 and ended at about 9 tonnes in 2015. Similarly, having increased
the amount of waste to approximately 10 tonnes in 2005, the waste output of B plunged by
7 tonnes making B the most environmental friendly company in the next 10 years.
On the other hand, C witnessed an upward trend over 15 years. Beginning at only 4 tonnes
of waste in 2000, a considerable rise of waste by 6 tonnes surpassing A and B in 2010 and
peaked at 10 tonnes at the end of the period
