At the end of the session students are expected to:

 Identify the musical system and styles of Indonesia
 Distinguish the difference between slendro (five tone scale) and pelog
(seven tone scale)

Affective
 Appreciate the Indonesian Music through singing

Psychomotor
 Sing the Indonesian Folk Song “Naik, Naik Ke Puncak Gunung” and
Nona Manis

o Divide the students into groups and each group will create
simple dance movements for the song.

 Generalization
-Indonesian Vocal songs are centered on their lives and on
the happenings in villages. Their songs were typically
lively in mood, rhythmically enhancing and enjoyably
danceable.

movements.
