I am going to fight the problem of misinformation and scams, their danger to the general

public and the damages they cause by using social media, artworks and maybe some short

videos.

The target audience is Indonesia of 10 year old at least and is from every walks of life.

The dangers of misinformation and scams, how the criminals who prepertate them

profited off the victims and how it endangered the general public, how misinformation causes

deaths, how scams cause trouble to innocent victims and how both of them are interconnected.

The problem of society in terms of information, knowledge and healthcare, as the

problem of misinformation, pseudoscientific, conspiracy theory and, quack treatment and

medicine which harms social knowledge, the advancement of society and the deaths of people, in

which that various Criminal Elements have used to exploit and profit off people by the people

who started these problems

It is in my belief that fighting misinformation should be our primary focus in that in our

modern society in which we are interconnected by the internet our perception is effected by the

issue of misinformation which will hurt society, and how we will be paying the price for our

ignorance of the dangers we all face, such as the scammers who would use misinformation to

harm us all.

The average 10 year old in the United States is very much all over the place as there is no
concrete data or evidence of what the 10 year old is interested in nor what attracts their
attention as most data is about nutrition, educational and even juvenile incidents.

Apparently most 10 year old habits and interests are unknown or aren't considered important
enough unless politically useful to be used, as such most interests and habits that are generally
known are considered hearsay or unreliable such as the issue of video games.

Even then most data available is for some reason child marriage, child labour and even
population data or census data about kids at the age of 10.

The other data that is available is mostly about toys that are considered good enough for kids at
the age of 10 years old, which doesn’t help much in terms of creating designs for this project.

One source of information that seems reliable is from CRN International which has a blog about
“What Do 10-Year-Olds Think?”

Which cites Katherine Lee in About Parenting; “Ten-year-old children can often think and sound
almost ‘grown-up’ and have the language skills and cognitive ability to gather information and
formulate opinions and thoughts that are well-organized and thought out.”

Thus I’m forced to do a generic design that would attract the attention of a 10 year old by what
data is available..

Most scam warnings available online are mostly video based warnings from crime dramas,
public service announcement, the few I found that were pictures were from the Official Police
Social Media accounts or shared from said account, which tends not to be permanent as it is
easily displaced or missed.

Most of the interactions I had in my Social Media is mostly my friends posting pictures and some
videos of their holidays before the pandemic, but I follow accounts and hashtags that are about
people more about factual facts, the truth, fighting scam and misinformation.
Most Social Media Campaign I had is mostly posting eye catching warnings about scams and
misinformation that targets the vulnerable, the easily spooked and the gullible ones.
