Dear Sir,
We have recently placed an order with you representative for several stationery items.
He / informed us there was a 15 per cent discount on any stationery which we ordered
// this year. Part of the order has now been delivered but we are still having /// difficulties
with your head office.
I am surprised to note that we have been charged //1// the full price for the items
delivered. In fact some of rates have even / increased since your representative’s visit. At
that time, he assured us that there would // be no rate increases until next year.
We have also received several items of stationery /// which we did not order and these
have now been returned to you as requested //2// by your divisional office manager. He
also stated us that the first outstanding items on / our order would be sent within twenty
four hours. However, we are still awaiting for // these stationery which were promised more
than a month ago. As we have had so /// many difficulties recently with stationery orders,
we have thought to use another supplier. We very //3// much regret having to take this action
as we have used your firm for several / years.
You are, requested to please look in to the matter and attention may be // taken in
further supply. Kindly note hence fourth it will not happen again or else /// we will stop
to place order to you. Hope you will take care.

Sometimes we think that a particular view is beneficial to the people. But there are/
people holding other views. In this matter we have to carry the people with us. // we cannot
ignore the views of others. We have to find a solution which is /// acceptable to all and
it does not weaken our independent structure or our national unity. //1// The question of
language generates emotion and anger. If a proper solution is found language / can be a
force for national unity and national progress.

Two years ago our leaders // put forward an proposal that education up to University
level should be in the /// mother tongue so that the benefits of education could reach
everyone and the talents of //2// the people could find a natural outlet. Can we achieve
this ? Even a good proposal / sometime contains the seeds of danger. It is feared that
this proposal might encourage independence. // This proposal could definitely prove
beneficial if there is a link language which can bind /// the people together and thus help
maintain national unity. Similarly there is need to maintain //3// links with the world.

We cannot afford to leave in isolation in the present day / world. It will prove harmful
to our interest. Therefore there should be three languages, namely. // regional language, link
language and an international language. We have to consider how the difficulties /// of the
various parts of country can be minimized and how these can be helped. //4//
