Direction: Joseph Conklin proposes 10 questions for self-examination

to help you understand your capacity for leadership. Answer the

following questions, and discuss why they are important for leadership.

a. How much do I like my job/study?

As a student I often study for my tasked and I use my time wisely

for the greater purpose but I had a good output through it.

Out of today's followers come tomorrow's leaders. A happy leader

might come from an unhappy follower, but the odds are against it..

b. How often do I have to repeat myself?

As a leader, I usually repeat myself for my follower to

comprehensively understands the tasked that we have to do.


c. How do I respond to failure?

As a leader, I always calm to focus and prevent more casualties. I

always think a solution to change the circumstances and a strong person

will be a great leader.

d. How well do I put up with second guessing?

Well in guessing or intuition it’s the best way to provide some

back up plan or anything to have a good outcome. It’s always tell

inside when you decide in terms of the situation.

e. How early do I ask questions when making a decision?

As a leader, as long as I have a time to discuss about it and the

more possible questions the more we could improved.

f. How often do I say “thank you”?

I always say thank you for the people who will cooperate and has

a big contribution for a certain situation even if we lose in the challenge

we could always learn to appreciate one’s effort and ability.

g. Do I tend to favor a loose or strict interpretation of the rules?

As a leader, I have to consider my followers their

recommendations for bringing a teamwork. We are one at all.


h. Can I tell an obstacle from an excuse?

As a leader, no because it will not change the situation. Excuses

is making yourself irresponsible and avoiding things that you need to

confront or face.

i. Is respect enough?

As a leader, no respect and cooperation must be followed because

just respecting isn’t making any progress. You could respect someone

who is high level than you but it isn’t the way you make things

effectively.

j. Have I dispensed with feeling indispensable?

Yes, Everything is a must as a good leader you have to be

followed and be consistent of the things that you want to improved for

continous knowledge.

This things are important for Leadership to determine how they

handle things possibly for the greater aspects of leading one group or

community. Leadership has many things to qualify but in this question

we can choose and determine who is a good leader and not.


This also emphasize what’s the differences of a person a leader,

leading theie followers. Actions is louder than voice you must where to

follow.
