DepEd: Duterte approves September 13 school opening

Manila- The Department of Education announced that classes for

school year 2021-2022 will open on September 13, as approved by President Rodrigo Duterte.

The DepEd said on a statement that, “they are grateful to the President for his full support to the

delivery of quality basic education for the incoming school year.”

Many people are still in favor of blended

learning because of fear of this deadly virus. However, safety health protocols must be observed

religiously.

Because of this situation the cooperation and support of the stakeholders are

needed for preparing for another challenging yet worthwhile endeavor of educating our children

amid a global health crisis.

Schools in basic education remain closed, as students

moved to distance learning for school year 2020-2021. President Duterte already approved the

pilot test of limited face-to-face classes in December 2020, but he drops back his approval

because of the danger brought by the COVID variants.

“Education is very relevant

because it is our key for brighter future” hence, we really need supportive teachers and parents to

join us explore and study educational things and inspire us to continue our education.
