THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB (ABRAHAM AND ISAAC)


Sacrifice is when you give up something in other to get a better one.
God called Abraham and to make him a father of many nations. God said Abraham and
his descendants must obey Him. In return, He would guide and protect them.
God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac on a mountain so that he could fulfill the
promise he made to him. God wanted to see if Abraham will still obey him. Abraham loved
his son so much, he didn't want to sacrifice him. But he also wanted to obey God. So he
took Isaac to the mountain to offer him as a sacrifice to God. God was happy that
Abraham wanted to obey Him. He gave Abraham a lamb to sacrifice and let Isaac go.

This is Abraham and his son Isaac. Abraham is a humble man who always obeys God.

Abraham wanted to sacrifice his son, Isaac, to God. But God stopped him and gave him a
lamb for the sacrifice.
