place to another.
Warm-up
Linda: Excuse me, I am lost, can you help me find my way, please? I need to get to
the Tenth Avenue.
Linda: Is it far from here? I`m new in this neighborhood and I don`t know how to
move around. Can you tell me how to get there?
3. Police: Go on past the park until you find the first traffic light.
Where are you going ? Are you lost ? I can help you find your way to the place you
need to go.
Come with me and help me guide Linda through her new neighborhood.
1 To get to the Sunshine Hostel go straight on until El Poblado Avenue. 2 Then, cross
the avenue and keep going for other two blocks. 3 Turn left and walk for about 50
meters. 4 Sunshine Hostel is on your right.

1 Go on past El Poblado Park. 2 Turn right and keep going until you come to El Poblado
Avenue. 3 Take your left and keep walking. 4 Cross 10A street. Pomona is on your right

on and cross 9th Street. 3 Take the next street on the right. The Apartments are on
your right.

We use prepositions of movement when we want to show movement to or from a
place. They usually appear with a verb in its imperative form.
