What are the STEPS OF SCIENTIFIC METHOD?
.1. Identifying Problems – The first step in scientific
investigations is to identify a problem
in a given situation. This problem
comes when a researcher is curious or
interested about something he/she has
observed in the environment.

Unang Step ay pagtatanong o asking a question, ito

ay nagmumula sa anumang
naobserbahan ninyo, sa inyong
kapaligiran. Usually ang tanong na ito
ay paano, Ano o bakit , so ditto
nagsisimula ang scientific method, sa
ating example ay ito , ako ay may
natanggap na regalo na halaman at
isda sa isang lalagyan, pinakain koi to
pagkauwi ko sa bahay , kinabukasan ,
nakita ko na lang na nakalutang na ang
isda at namatay, ang aking tanong,
Bakit siya namatay ? ( pakita ung
video ng isda sa halaman )

2. Making Observations – The process of science starts with an observation

within the surrounding of a researcher. In this step, the
scientist will research and make observations regarding
the problem. Researcher may use his senses.

Ito ang pagsasaliksik sa iyong tanong , baka puwedeng hanapin langb sa internet
yung sagot sa tanong or information na kailanagan kung
paano mo masasagot ang iyong tanong , so sa ating
example , puwede mong hanapin ang uri ng isda na
inalagaan mo, sa akin ang ginawa ko ay nagtype lang
 ako ng kind of small fishes in aquarium at saka
angtanong ako s akaibigan ko na mahilig at marunong
mag alaga ng isda , nakilala ko ang isda na inalagaan ko
bilang isang uri ng danios fish , ngayon ang sunod kong
ginawa ay inalam ko paano alagaan ang fish na ito , ano
ang characteristic niya , nalaman ko doon na masama
siyang ma over feeding , o sobrang dami ng pinapakain.

3. Forming a Hypothesis – In this step, you will give

temporary solutions to the identified problem.

Ito ung educated guess. Dahil meron ka nang nalaman

tungkol sa tanong mo, puwede ka nang
manghula na malamang ay dahil sa
pagpapakain ko ng madami sa isda kaya ito
namatay, Ito ung time na magpredict ka sa
maaaring sagot sa tanong o problem mo.

4. Testing the Hypothesis/ Experiment – The next scientific step you are going to
is to test your hypothesis. Some hypothesis may be
tested simply by further observations or take an
elaborate and tedious process as in the experiment

So para malaman kung ang hypothesis o educated guess mo ay tama, ditto na

pumapasok ung pag experiment o pag alam kung tama
ung hypothesis mo. Sa akin ang ginawa ko ay bumili
ako ng fish ulit na dalawa at ung isa ay pinakain ko ng
katulad ng dati at ung isa ay konting lpagkain lng.This
step is for you to test kung mapapatunayan mo ba o
hindi na tama ang iyong hypothesis
5. Organize and Analyze Data - After performing an experiment and collecting
data, one must analyze the data. Research experiments
usually analyzed data with statistical software in order
to determine the relationships among the data gathered.
In the case of a simpler experiment, one would look at
the data and see how they show a relationship

Ditto mo nilalagay ang mga information na nakuha mo sa experiment, sa fish a at

fish b, gaano kadami ang nilagay mong pagkain, oras ng
pagpapakain, sa ganito ay kailangan isulat mo lahat ng
ginawa nilagay mong bagay sa experiment mo
,gumagamit ng table o graph sa steps na ito .minsan
maraming trials ang kailangan, ditto mo ibabase kung
anag hypothesis mo ay tama o hindi

6. Draw Conclusions – The next step of scientific investigation is to form a

conclusion. If the data support the hypothesis, then the
hypothesis is correct and may be the explanation for the
phenomena. If the data do not support the hypothesis,
then more observations must be made, a new
hypothesis is formed, and the scientific investigation is
used all over again

Ito ay summary ng experiment, kailangan mong explain kung bakit nag kaganun
ang experiment, at ditto mo rin isasagot ang sagot sa
tanong mo nung una.Dahil sa ginawa kong experiment ,
anlaaman ko na hindi dapat piapakain ng narami ang
mga ganung uri ng isda at maaring makalason s akanila
ang tubig na maraming pagkain
7. Communicate Results - When a
conclusion is drawn, the research can be
presented to others to inform them of the
findings and receive input about the
validity of the conclusion drawn from the
research.

mga scientist they publish it o present to a
group of scientist na puwedeng magreview
ng kanilang experiment. Ibinahagi ko to sa
asawa ko at kakilala na nag aalaga din ng
isda upang maiwasan na nilang mangyari
ito sa kanilang alaga .
