03-2021

AN ORDER CREATING THE TEAM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FORMULATION OF COVID-19 VACCINATION
PLAN OF PINAMALAYAN, ORIENTAL MINDORO

WHEREAS, Proclamation Nos. 922 and 1021 series of 2020 declared the Philippines under State of Public
Health Emergency and State of Calamity due to the COVID-19 pandemic;

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 11494 or the “Bayanihan Heal as One Act” authorizes the President to
suppress the COVID-19 pandemic through the procurement of drugs and vaccines;

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2021-007 dated January 18, 2021 provides Interim
Preparatory Guidelines in the Implementation of the National Vaccination Program;

WHEREAS, the aforementioned guidelines directed LGUs to prepare vaccination plan in compliance to the
DOH guidelines on the National Vaccination Program and in coordination with the respective DOH-Centers for Health
Development;

NOW THEREFORE, I, ARISTEO A. BALDOS, JR., Municipal Mayor of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, by
virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the creation of Team responsible for the formulation of
COVID-19 Vaccination Plan of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, as follows:

Section 1. COMPOSITION – The Team shall be composed of the following:

Section 2. DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS. The Team shall perform the following duties and functions:

1. Develop a COVID-19 Vaccination Plan consistent with all existing and relevant laws and
guidelines;
 2. Recommend necessary programs and policies to support the implementation of the
aforementioned plan; and

3. Perform such other functions and activities as may be just, immediate and necessary to carry
out the provisions of this order.

Section 3. EFFECTIVITY. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon approval.
