How does fever affects the performance of the students from Notre Dame Of Cotabato
Objectives:
1.To determine the effects of fever in the study of the students from the Notre Dame Of
Cotabato.
2.To implement an awareness for the parents, teachers, and school administrators.
3.To determine a solution for the students who didn’t caught up on the lessons that the
teacher taught and quizzes,assignments, activities and other school works that the
teacher gave.
Scope and Limitation
The study assessed the effects of fever in the performance of students. This study was conducted
at Notre Dame Of Cotabato, Cotabato City S.Y 2018-2019. The respondents of this study were the
senior high school students at Notre Dame Of Cotabato,thus, only selected grade 11 and grade 12
students were involved. Only 10 students per year level and it is randomly selected.
Significance Of the study
Fever is one of the common illnesses that the students from Notre Dame Of Cotabato experiencing.
It is also one of the major reasons on why students are absent for over a days,weeks, and
sometimes only for just a day, because of this the performance of a student who became sick is
affected.This study will benefit the following group of people;
 The teachers,the result of this study may serve as a guide and an awareness for them to
know the experiences of a student who had a fever and how it became a big problem to
their studies and their performance in school.They will be able to know what they will
do in order to make the student who had a fever to cope with their performance.
 The students,the result may give an answers and data to their problem and be able to
know what to do after the absences and how will they cope up. The result may also a
guide for them to take a preventive measure to avoid having a fever.
 The parents,the result of this study may give them a solution on how will they help
their child/children who has fever, in their performance and their studies. They will be
able to know that the fever can be a major reason to why their child’s performance is
poor.
 The school administrators,the result of this study may give an awareness for them,so
that they will know what to do to avoid or at least to decrease the impact of fever to the
students’ performance. The result may also provide them a better understanding that
the fever’s effects in their school performance and their studies must be taken seriously
and the difficulties they are experiencing in coping with their studies.
