Reaction Paper

Reynaldo Turtona Prof. Jacinto

A Police Officer serves to maintain law and order in local areas by

protecting members of the public and their property, preventing crime,

reducing the fear of crime and improving the quality of life for all citizens.

Being a policeman is also considered as one of the noble professions

in the Philippines. Apart from the teachers, they are the one who gain much

respect from the people. And since many people especially the young

children admire them, it is a duty to uphold the integrity and credibility of

the whole criminal justice system.

Working in the Police Force can be challenging but is also a rewarding

career with the chance to make a difference within the community. However,

we cannot deny the fact that the work environment can be physically

demanding, potentially dangerous and at times distressing. In regards to

being physically demanding, a Police Officer will need to be physically fit in

order to carry out some aspects of the job.

As a future policeman, I want to become a role model to my

community by upholding the integrity and crebility of my fellow police, I will

do what is right, in the best of my ability to protect my countrymen.
