Is there anything you wished the course covered that it didn't?

I felt like the course was pretty comprehensive as far as going over all the time periods, and so I
don’t think there were anything I thought should have been covered but wasn’t.

Which Module/time period do you wish we spent more time on?

I feel like we covered as much as possible of the works from Ancient Greece and Rome, my
favorite time period, but I also just liked learning about more prehistoric and ancient civilizations
and their art, so more time spent on these modules would be great.

When were you most frustrated in class? Explain.

Not really frustrated, but online textbook reading is a bit different from how I usually read, and
so I think a paper copy of the textbook would be really helpful.

What would you like to see Dr. Hernandez do more of in this class?
We just had Dr. Hernandez recently I believe, but so far I think she has been doing a great job so
far helping people review for the AP exam and going over the course content!

Is there anything in the course you would like to see added or organized more efficiently? Are
you able to find what you are looking for? Explain.
Definitely the course modules- I loved the class but trying to go back and find a specific page
was really hard to do since the course is so big and takes a while to load every time a page is
clicked on. I'm not sure if this would be possible, but a search feature to find keywords
throughout all the pages would be extremely helpful for review and finding pages, or even just
splitting a module into multiple different sections so that the page could load faster would also be
helpful. A paper copy of the textbook would also be really helpful to be able to flip through and
find things.

How did you feel about the self-evaluation practice essays?

A) I liked being able to review the rubric and grade my own writing

How did you feel about the e-mail communication this semester?
B) I thought the emails were helpful and appropriate
How did you feel about the live sessions this semester?
B) I didn’t like to attend live, but I did watch the recordings.

Teachers are required to have one live session a week. What are some suggestions for good ways
for your instructor to use this time in Art History?
I think the live session recordings were very helpful and enjoyable to watch, even though I
couldn’t make it to the lives because of my schedule. Going over course content and adding extra
information was a good use of the live sessions.

What is one aspect of Art History that you really didn't like? This could be the course setup, the
content, the assignments, the assessments, the methods, whatever? Be specific.
Just mostly how the pages were set up and took a while to find anything specific. When going
back to the home page, it would take a couple minutes to load everything completely, for me at
least, and especially considering how each module had numerous pages, trying to find anything
would be a pain, as if the page clicked on initially wasn’t correct, going back and selecting a
different page would take a long while.

What is one aspect of Art History that you really liked? Be specific!
It was a really fun class, and I really enjoy reading textbooks, especially history books (which I
know most people don’t, I’m weird), and so it was nice to have a genuinely interesting class.

How do you feel about the grade you have in this course?
A) I think it’s fair

What advice do you have for next year's students?

Definitely make sure to review information in the course modules and find reading enjoyable as
that would make learning this course a lot easier!
