Culture revitalizes: Indigenous Art Gallery

Concordia University announces the opening of a new Indigenous Art Gallery with the program
“The Hidden Gem”.

The new Indigenous Art Gallery inspires people from prospective students to the general public,
the academic community, professional or business communities to embrace recognition for the
culture and of the First Nation people. Have you ever thought Hawkeye in Marvel should get
more attention? For Indigenous culture, it is the same way. Well, if you have not heard about it
that much or desire to learn more about it, this gallery event will be a great place to explore and
find yourself another beauty to discover.

During the sapiens existence, the struggle to preserve heritage and culture has never been more
obvious for minorities, especially the Indigenous people. Because of that, Concordia University
would like to make it into a special event to conserve the world's biodiversity in terms of culture
and ensure all cultures are recognized equally. It is also an excellent choice for people who want
to play their part in creating a safe and more prosperous environment for minorities’ heritage can
reach to other parts of the world.

This is not the ordinary gallery that you would normally visit. This is the gallery where it
provides you all forms of Indigenous art that convey the story about them in each of the gems
and you will have a chance to talk to Indigenous people. And you will probably not find
anywhere else like this in Montreal. In case you have not registered, you will miss out on:
 The social event with Indigenous people where you can practice their signature throat
singing
 The artwork ranging from paintings to exquisite statues that convey their message.
 The astounding Indigenous crafts that will remind you about this unique culture

The gallery welcomes all the attendants at the first-floor lobby at John Molson Building at 9 am
on Sunday and you can check out in Concordia press release and Concordia LinkedIn pages.

Do not make your Sunday ordinary, make it a chance to learn and embrace another culture.
