Here are listed all the ecolabels in order to enable consumers to determine which products are green,
safe, and environmentally sustainable. It also helps to reduce the consumption of biodiversity.

2. How do your consumer (buying) choices affect biodiversity?

Consumer choices directly affect biodiversity. If a consumer does not know about the eco-friendly items
while purchasing the things then it directly affects the biodiversity.

3. Pick one of these methods that you feel would be usable in YOUR city/village/town. How?
Explain.

The method that I feel would be usable in my city is;

Fair Trade Certified My region is very famous for the production of agricultural products. Fair Trade
Certified guarantees that farmers and workers that produce products in the developing world are
getting a fair deal. It also ensures the protection of local ecosystems and promotes sustainable and
organic agriculture. So it is suitable for my region.

This week, I have learned about different eco-friendly items and conservation and importance of the
biodiversity.
