1. How grading system of kindergarten differs from Grades 1- 12?


The grading system of kindergarten is specific and a compilation of
students output is a must while the grading system of Grades 1-12 doesn’t
require numbers of written work and performance tasks.
2. What are the three major components of students’ grades in Grades 1-
12?
The three major components of student’s grades in Grades 1-12 are written
work, performance tasks and quarterly assessment.
3. Among the three components in grades 1-10, which task is given the
largest percentage? Why?
The component that has the largest percentage in Grades 1-10 is the
performance task because it serves as learning evidence where the
students are tasked to perform to show their understanding and knowledge
about the topic.
4. What are the clusters of subjects in Grades 1-10? How do they vary?
The clusters of subjects in Grades 1-10 are first the subjects Araling
Panlipunan and Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. Next to it are the subjects
Science and Mathematics. Then the last one is MAPEH, EPP and TLE. They
vary because of their similarities in lessons.

5. What are the subject groups in Grades 11-12?
The are the academic track (STEM, GAS, ABM), Technical-Vocational
livelihood track, Special Program in Sports and Special Program in Arts.

6. Which component task/s in both academic track and TVL is/are given
the largest percentage? Why?
The component that has largest percentage in both academic track and TVL is
the performance task because it I where they shows how the students
understand and apply the topic.
