Simple Garden Light Control: is a system which used for security purpose
in our garden (fence).

• Garden lighting allow for us safety and security by eliminating shadows

where criminals might hide, it can also be used to create a dramatic flair.

Ladder diagram of simple garden light control has components such as:

 Photosensitive switch
 ON/OFF switch
 Motion Detector
 Security lighting:
 Timer

Component of the project

• Photosensitive switch: - It measures the light and give a signal at an

adjustable switching point.

• Motion detector: - is small electronic eyes that detect infrared waves, this
means heat waves that radiate from moving objects. When the detector
senses an object moving across its field of view especially warmer objects
such as people, it electronically turns on the light.

• Security lighting: - provides a level of illumination to clearly identify

persons or object.

Working principle

In garden lighting control system there are 2 outputs will control the system.

1. main garden lighting

2. security lighting.
 The system has on/ off switch I2.our system will start to work.
 At night the main lighting start to light due to the photosensitive switch
and stop in the morning.

 The security lighting starts to work when motion detector pushbutton is

on by detecting existence of a person.

Photosensitive Switch: is used to switch a lighting circuit “ON” and “OFF” based
on light conditions.

Motion Sensor: a device which senses the existence of physical body.
