READING COMPREHENSION
1. Lee el siguiente texto acerca de Aneley, una niña Mapuche. Mientras lees, identifica al menos tres
(3) oraciones que estén escritas en Presente Perfecto.
My name is Aneley, and I’m a Mapuche. My people have lived in rukas for centuries. We have
built our homes using trees and straw. They have different sizes and forms. Some people have
built rectangular, circular or elliptical rukas. Have you ever visited a ruka? Have you seen they
only have a single big room? For this reason, I haven’t had my own bedroom yet. We have used
very little furniture, mainly small stools and beds. Domestic utensils hang from the ceiling and
walls, and we have used special storage spaces for food. Our community has finished building
a traditional ruka this morning. We have prepared the inauguration ceremony; it took us days.
We haven’t cooked our traditional food yet. My brother has started peeling the piñones five
minutes ago. I love my people and I don’t want to live in the city. Rukas are perfect for me.
