AllBrew Project Brief

Introduction:

AllBrew is a one package coffee brewing machine with an electronic boiling system and pressing
mechanism to brew coffee on the go instantly. (See the attached images for reference)

The functionality of the coffee mug:

This travel mug will have the following core functionalities

a. Pressure chamber and plunger for coffee beans to lock it so it doesn’t disturb the constant fla-
vour of coffee
b. Push button for the user to drink coffee, which will get locked after a second push to make it
complete leak-proof
c. The heating coil inside to keep the coffee warm and hot
d. Display for a user to check the status
e. PCB including battery, buttons and adaptor
f. Charging at the base

Current Status of the Design:

At this stage, Functional DFM (Design for manufacturing) is ready, and first prototype is under
manufacturing. It covers all the aspects of Fitment Design of parts, Assembly, Electronics components,
and Function of All brew coffee mug.

Next Steps:

1. It will be required designer/engineer to assemble and test the prototype of the above design
2. Analyze-it for possible improvements in design, and execute the design improvements
3. Generate final detailed improved DFM design for review, and for a contract manufacturer
4. Coordinate and assist contract manufacturers with their design queries
