The story centers around Woo Jin, a 30-year-old male lead with a genetic ailment that caused

him to begin body-shifting at the age of 18. Every morning, he awakens in the body of a different

person - male, female, young, elderly, of all races and civilizations. He suddenly develops

feelings for Yi Soo, a woman who works at the furniture store where he distributes his wares. He

may have been spying on her for months before eventually asking her out on a day when he

wakes up in a beautiful body. From there, he successfully forms a relationship with her, and it

was centered on how tough it is for her to come to terms with his body shifting. Woo Jin attitude

from the start to the middle of the story is he felt angry because looking at a different face in the

mirror every morning is hard for him to get used to and that is because of his genetic ailment and

at the same time he also feels that he is scared that the girl he loves might not love her back

because of his genetic ailment. Well in fact, when Yi Soo knows the truth, of course, she feels

shocked and she tries to understand the situation, and eventually, she accepts and loves Woo Jin

who he is. Because having a body-shifting boyfriend is hard to explain, but at the end of the day

you're the one who chose this relationship, and at least he's seemingly a great person who treats

you well. But, she was also scared that one day she might not identify who Woo Jin is. In the

middle of the story up to the ending of the story, people start gossiping about Yi Soo, claiming

that she is constantly dating different men. This stresses her out to the point where she needs

medication to cope with her stress, worry, and insomnia. Woo Jin resolves to vanish from her life

to assist her. Time passes, but Yi Soo's love for Woo-Jin remains undiminished, and she is

determined to find him. So, fortunately, she changes the perspective of Woo Jin that no matter

what happens or no matter the fact Woo Jin always wakes up in a different body every day,

1
regardless of age, gender and nationality. Sometimes he's a man, a woman, old, young, or even a

foreigner. He can even speak different languages, depending on who he is for the day. He's the

same person on the inside, but on the outside, he's always someone new. She still loved him

because physical appearance is not important. After all, she believes that what matters the most

is being able to demonstrate that we are indeed attractive on the inside. In this movie, they are

both confused and uncomfortable at the same time because for Woo Jin, he wants a normal life

and he was hoping this genetic ailment would disappear and for Yi Soo, she is uncomfortable

because of what people says because as we all know, we are in a technological world that is

influenced by social media, set quite high standards and start to be hard to ourselves. But

eventually, Yi Soo is the strong one and realizes that she doesn’t care about what people say

because if you love someone, don’t love him/her because of his/her looks but fall in love with

him/ her based on what’s in his/her inside. After watching the film makes me realize that

appearance doesn't support our knowledge, skills, nature, virtue, and ethics, and eventually, it

will lose its value. I also believe that we won't be regarded as lovely people if we don't gain

moral satisfaction and peace of mind from doing the right thing to everyone that we encounter

throughout the day, regardless of how gorgeous we are and it is the blessings of others that

provide this moral joy. I have this quote or encouraging phrase by (Times of India Blog, 2020).

So, whether you are attractive or not, all you have to do is be well-behaved and exhibit inner

beauty, and you will be applauded everywhere.
