1. The current environmental situation in the world is at an alarming level

The world environment today is for many reasons such as soil pollution, water or air pollution
and the most important reason is still human. Human life is more and more advanced, living
standards are increasing, so we make use of all natural resources in an unconscious way.
Soil: We use it to plan the construction of apartments, condominiums, factories, large factories to
serve the interests of people. When factories are planted, they unconsciously discharge waste,
leading to soil pollution. In addition, apartments and condominiums have sprung up like
mushrooms, the population has become crowded and there is no need to throw garbage
indiscriminately, leading to soil pollution by the time we realize it.
Water: Instead of using this valuable resource for hydropower purposes to contribute to the
development of people's lives, some individuals and organizations have impartially viewed the
water source as a garbage dump. Moreover, they carelessly discharge industrial pollutants and
people lack awareness of taking advantage of water sources but carelessly littering, leading to
serious water pollution, affecting the daily life of people and the environment, especially other
aquatic creatures.
Air: With the amount of motorbikes and cars circulating today, they accidentally release a huge
amount of toxic gas into the environment, which directly affects human health and other living
things, including the atmosphere. On the other hand, factories produce poison into the air,
making it more and more toxic. This is one of the alarming environmental pollution situations in
Vietnam and in the world today.
Next, I’m going to talk about the actual state of my local area environment
2. In the area of Xuan Truc commune, An Thi district (Hung Yen province) - a location only
about 3km from the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway to Hung Yen city, the situation of burning
garbage at the garbage dump outside the field still goes on calmly.
Currently, there is only a waste treatment unit in the city, in addition, there is a Urenco unit
specializing in garbage treatment with a capacity of 100 tons/day and another unit handling about
50 tons/day. The current reality is that there are not enough waste treatment facilities according
to regulations, so because there is no place to take the garbage, there is a situation of gathering
garbage in the field and burning it.
3. Solution
Let's propagate to the people around us such as friends, teachers, family and the whole society
about the current situation of environmental pollution, convey messages about environmental
protection, help them be more aware in keeping the environment clean and healthy.
At the same time, actively protect our living environment with practical actions such as planting
trees, cleaning houses, streets, rivers and seas. Waste collection, systematic treatment is efficient,
hygienic and doesn’t cause other consequences.
And I highly recommend you to follow the 3R rule which means reduce unnecessary
consumption and stop generating more and more waste, reuse everything you can or give usable
things to the other person / institution to use it, recycle what remains as waste and dispose into
the green dumpsters only that kind of waste which could not be recycled otherwise.
