1. Why BEED? (10 pts)

- I chose BEED, because my parents pursue me to this course, they want
me to be a future educator and also, the reason why they want me to be a
teacher of elementary instead of higher grades it’s because of my height.
It’s hilarious, but I finally loving it.

2. In your own opinion, what is Environmental Science? (10 pts)

- For me, Environmental Science is about studying environment using
science. It tackles about things that we should and we should not do, to
protect and preserve our natural resources.

3. For you what is the importance of Environmental Science in your course?

(10 pts)
- As youth, we can still do so much things to reduce our environmental
problems. That is why it is important to us, learners, to gain more
knowledge on how to secure and preserve our nature and all living things
here on Earth. Educating learners, can possibly help and make things
happen especially on creating a better place to live, by simply knowing on
how to segregate waste, conserve water, plant trees etc. And as a future
educator, we are the one, who will teach the next generation, we are the
one’s who will shoulder the responsibility to teach them and build them,
because we all know that Elementary is the training ground of every
children. Although parents will actually take responsibility at first, but most
of the time, children are at school.

4. In you observation, what is the environmental condition of our country?

right now? Give examples to support your answers. (10 pts)
- There is extreme heat even though it is not summer. It is always at the
headline of news forecast, that in some cold places the icebergs are
melting and the sea level is rising and the ocean might cover all the
coastal cities.
5. Define Ecosystem. (10 pts)

- An ecosystem consists of all organisms and the physical environment with

which they interact. These biotic and abiotic components are Linked
together through nutrient cycles and energy flows. (Wikipedia)
