DIFFERENT METHODS IN GATHERING/COLLECTING DATA

DIRECT OR INTERVIEW METHOD

Working through Challenges in Doing Interview Research

CRITIC:
Accuracy: In this property, we could say that the research interpretation in this
interview did not imposed the highest degree of practicality in presenting its results. In
the scale of 1-10, for us it’s 6, because the construction of context is distorted and hard
to understand specially the significance of the numbers on the left side. The
construction has no particular meaning.
Simplicity: If we will based on the description of simplicity, the way it is presented
is indeed straightforward and not loaded with ornamentation or anything. But the
problem is, its simplicity gives confusion on what might be the possible meaning these
context represent.
Clearness: It is readable and they only focus the important messages of the
interviewee on his/her answer.
DIFFERENT METHODS IN GATHERING/COLLECTING DATA

OBSERVATION METHOD

CRITIC:
Accuracy: In the scale of 1 -10, we scored it 8 because there is a degree of
accuracy and practicality in showing their obtained data. But the construction of table is
quite careless and may be susceptible to wrong interpretation, because of the words “7
Day”. Because the first thing that will pop up to your mind is the whole 7 days of the
week. But it is okay if this is the only required meanings in each context.
Simplicity: The design is simple and straight forward. It does not contain many
ornamentation and irrelevant informations.
Clearness: In this property, we think it is better if they bold the number of days
and changed the “7 Day observation”, so it is clear that they will only compare the data
in the first and 7th day of observation.
