Paragraph type: Argument

What is a paragraph of argument? (Definition)

It is a paragraph grounded on logical and structured evidence that aims to convince the reader to accept an
opinion, take some action, or to do both.
An expression of your view that is based on logic, solid research and evidence presented as ‘reasons’. Reasons
are the key points to defend your opinion (either for or against) and thus conclusion.
A great argument may have several things:

Evidence, A comparison to draw from, Words that accomplish your goal. And a conclusion drawn from the
argument.

Keep in mind to search for words that compel (persuade) a person to believe you. (Hint) Google words of
persuasion and click on the images for a clear list.

How? With your topic and argument chosen, you support your argument with multiple logical reasons presented
in sequence of importance. You then connect the evidence with your idea or conclusion, to support or decry the
argument you are making.
