    POINTS TO PONDER

    1. Are the changes in the life of a nation inevitable?


    Change is the only constant thing in the world in the sense that it is
    5 always present, so my answer would be Yes. As time goes by there is always
    a change may it be in our personal aspect, in the economy, society and even
    in religion. As we are in the 20th century there have been a lot of changes in
    the way we are living, in our beliefs and the world we live in. There are also
    factors around us that contribute to that change that makes it inevitable.
    10 Change is always happening as new generations replace the old. Like how
    technology made a drastic change in our lives.

    1. Why is nationalism a desirable national goal?


    Nationalism is a desired goal because that is what drives us to the
    15 independence we all deserve. A country on it’s own can function on its own
    and that is why it is a goal of the nation. In order to have this freedom we
    must fight for it and don’t let others take control. As long as it is fused with
    patriotism and the main goal is not to abuse it, it will always lead to a
    beneficial outcome.

    2. Is industrialization good for a nation? Does it have pitfalls?
    In order for a country’s economy to grow and develop, industrialization
    plays a vital role. It improved the mass production of goods, which increased
    the standard of living. Alongside with its benefits, it also have its
    25 disadvantages especially to our environment. The degradation of ecological
    systems, global warming, greenhouse gas emissions are all caused by
    Industrialization.

    3. How could changes affect a person?


    30 The result of changes can differ from one person to another. It depends
    on a person’s way of coping to these changes that are happening. Change
    can either be a good thing or bad depending on how you perceive it. For me
    it could affect my personality and how am I as person, but I will take it as a
    motivation and make that a change a positive thing, a opportunity to make
    35 myself better, improve the things I need so that I can also make a change to
    my surrounding.
