ABOUT NIN
National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN) is an autonomous body under
Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. NIN organizes many awareness
activities for the welfare of the society. From the year 2018, NIN has started
Ozone department as part of its modern Naturopathic therapeutics. It may
be noted that Ozone therapy is a non pharmacological intervention, gets
well with the concept of natural medicine. The action of Ozone therapy
begins at the cellular level and hastens the process of healing in all
medical ailments from common cold to non-healing ulcers and cancers.
BACKGROUND
Modern lifestyle invariably brings in a lot of chemicals, toxic, and unavoid-
able metals through polluted air, contaminated water and food into the
human body. Because of the above said morbid matter in the body, the
current mechanisms of Natural healing employed may take long time in
the process of healing.
Ozone, thus, helps in reducing healing time in bringing down the morbidi-
ties. It helps in a great deal both for patients and clinicians in addressing
the plethora of NCD’s and infectious disease.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this certificate program in ozone therapy is to enhance the
skills of medical physicians to integrate and accentuate their therapeutic
approach for the best possible clinical outcomes.

PROGRAM DELIVERY
The Certificate program is delivered in two Modules
Module 1: Basic Certificate in Ozone Therapy. (4 Days)
Module 2: Advanced Certificate in Ozone Therapy. (4 Days)
Program delivery will be through contact classes which will cover theory,
demonstration, practical hands-on training, group discussions, etc.
Assessments will be done through assignments, case reports, and presen-
tations.
ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE
After due completion of 4 days of contact classes, each student will have
to pass theory and practical exam with a minimum percentage of 50% to
get the certificate.
CERTIFICATION
After due completion of assessment procedures of the 1st module, the
student will be given a basic certificate in ozone therapy and after 2nd
Module completion advanced certificate in ozone therapy.
HOW TO APPLY
Filled in application along with documentary proof (Provisional or Degree
Certificate, Registration certificate, Caste certificate, Address proof, and
Photo identity card from the state or central government with a fee of
Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) may be paid to NIN. Payment may be
made through NEFT to the following account.

WHO CAN APPLY
Any allied Medical Graduate registered under state or Central Government/
Board/ University. (Preference will be given to Naturopathy graduates)
*For admission to the second module, a basic certification course is com-
pulsory.

ADMISSION PROCESS
Admission will be based on first cum first serve basis. Selection will be
based on Reservation policy according to the norms of the Government of
India. Once the candidate is selected, immediately full-term fees should be
paid to secure the seat.
FEES STRUCTURE
Fees for the basic certificate course in ozone therapy is 20,000/- (Fees
once remitted will not be refunded)
Fees for the advanced certificate course in ozone therapy is 20,000/-
(Fees once remitted will not be refunded)
** Concession of 5,000 will be given to SC, ST and PH

• Hands-on training on intravenous ozone therapy
• Protocol for various conditions.
• Hospital-grade waste disposal procedures
• Discussion on different scenarios to optimize the scientific outcome of
different diseases.
GENERAL INSTRUCTION TO CANDIDATES
• 100% attendance of the contact classes is compulsory to get the
certification.
• Classes will be conducted at the National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune.
• Supervised teaching hours will be for 4 days.
• Due submission of assignments is a mandate within the stipulated time
period.
SCOPE OF OZONE CERTIFICATION
• On successful completion candidates can setup their own clinics for
life style disorders, autoimmune diseases and pain management, etc.
• Ozone therapy can be easily integrated with Naturopathy modalities
through hydrotherapy & nutrition therapy etc. Special opportunities to
work in spas, wellness centers research institutes and multi-specialty
hospitals can be obtained with training in this course.
• An array of clinical approach in cosmetology and dental practice can
also be integrated.
