Recording: Susan

Call to order: Susan called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. The minutes of the May 2021
meeting
were approved on a motion by Clark, seconded by Chance.

Treasurer’s Report: Chance provided a report. He has sent the package to the State for re-
registration of the Corporation.

Lake Commons Maintenance: Sharon will make plans for fall work, for discussion at the next
meeting. Susan sent mowing reminders to two homeowners, with a 10-day limit before we
have the commons mowed at a cost of $25. One homeowner mowed within the 10 days, and
the second was mowed by Peter Cowley and a $25 fee will be applied to the next annual
assessment.

Lake Maintenance: Susan and her husband have continue treating algae in the lake. They have
removed the remaining goose nests.

Website: Lee reports no activity on the site. Lee has updated the site with the new minutes.

New Business – Proposed Amendments to Bylaws: Susan distributed a draft of specific

changes to the Association Bylaws. The intent is to charge a late fee for homeowners who do
not pay their dues on time. Susan proposed to base the late fee on the extra costs of preparing
notices and mailing via Priority Mail with signature required (approximately $25 per notice. It
was generally agreed that we will accept a payment up to 30 days late with no fee, as this is a
standard business practice. With the original due date of February 1st, these late fees will be
applied in March and beyond. There was discussion about how to apply the late fees. Susan
will rewrite the language and present at the next meeting for further discussion.

Next Meeting: The next meeting will be Wednesday, July 21st, at 6:30 pm on Sharon’s
property. We will invite Judy Dalton or a representative of the Glenshire Association to attend
to discuss common interests.

Susan adjourned the meeting at 7:25 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
Susan Johnston
