George Evans said that every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way. There are three domains of individual differences among students: intellectual differences, personality differences, and conative differences. Factors like heredity, age, socioeconomic status, family background, and community background all contribute to differences among students and affect how diversity impacts the classroom. A diverse classroom environment has benefits like improved academic achievement for all students and increased creativity and confidence as students learn in a welcoming environment.
