Introduction
Leadership is an everyday way of acting and thinking that has little to do with a title or formal position in an
organization. It is an art of influencing people to perform assigned task willingly, efficiently and competently.
Leadership is a people activity and distinct from administrative paper work or planning activities. Leadership
occurs among people. Followers are important part of the leadership process and all leaders were sometimes
followers. Good leaders know how to follow and set an example for others. There are opportunities for leadership
all around us that involve influence and change toward a desired goal or outcome. Without leadership our
communities and organizations fall apart.

Leadership skills enables employees to take senior/administrative/leadership roles at workplace. Leadership

skills are highly sought-after in employees for different job roles. Developing leadership skills provides an
opportunity to qualify for advanced level job roles. This expertise is beneficial for not only professional career
growth but helpful even if you want to become an entrepreneur.

This course is designed in a manner that the participant will understand the fundamentals of leadership along
with experiential learning through mix pedagogy. It enables participants to recognize their own style of
leadership, motivation, strengths and areas to improvement to excel in executing leadership skills. It also gives
opportunity to understand the ethical perspective in leadership.

Objectives

The objective of this program is to prepare executives for leadership roles.

 Pedagogy
A pedagogical mix of lecture, presentation, role plays, exercises and experiential tools will be used.
Interactive sessions, case analyses, in class exercises will be used to develop insights and clarity of concepts.

Faculty
Experienced faculty of IIM Raipur along with eminent experts from the industry will conduct the sessions.

This Program is designed for young and middle -level executives aspiring for fast-track leadership roles.

The registration fee per participant is Rs.20,000/- plus taxes as applicable. This includes academic fee,
programme kit for participants, boarding and lodging (on twin sharing basis). Payment can be made online by

Lastdate
The last date for receipt of nominations for the Programme is Dec 20, 2018 and the last date of withdrawal is
Jan 01, 2019. Any withdrawal request received after this date will be subject to deductions as per the Institute’s
rules. In case of subsequent withdrawal or cancellation of nomination(s), no refund of fee will be allowed.
However substitute may be permitted with prior intimation.

ProgrammeDirector
Prof.Anubha Dadhich is an Assistant Professor of human resource management at Indian Institute of
Management Raipur. Prof. Dadhich’s research focuses on ethical leadership. Her research and teaching interest
 include managing human capital, capacity building, culture and HR Analytics. She has published articles in
leading scholarly journals including journal of business ethics, vikalpa etc.
She is a certified trainer for psychometric assessments like MBTI and FIRO B. In past years she had
implemented management development programs on leadership, communication, personality development,
negotiations with organizations like Aditya Birla Group, NTPC Ltd., etc. She has also conducted workshops for
graduate and postgraduate students of premier engineering institute on career development and personality
types.
She had received her PhD in Human Resource Management from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and post-
graduate degree from SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. Previously she served as an Assistant Professor at
Noida International University, Greater Noida, BITS Pilani, and as a visiting faculty at Center for Management
Studies, Jamia Milia Islamia University Delhi. She has also worked as an assistant project coordinator and
trainer for DFID, UNICEF and IFFDC projects.
