Course Description:

Introduce students to the principals of technical drawing employing both traditional drafting and Computer-Aided-Drafting techniques. Describe and demonstrate the
process of visualization and constructing multi-view, isometric, and section drawings. Demonstrate and explain the theory and practice of dimensioning. Explain the
importance of standards in the modern technical drawing environment.

This is an exploratory course and introductory to Technical Drafting. It covers competencies that a certain student ought to possess, namely: 1) Use of tools and equipment;
2) maintaining tools, drawing instruments, equipment, online and offline app skills ; 3)performing mensuration and calculation; 4) interpreting technical drawing and plans;
5)practicing occupational Health and Safety(OHS) procedures.

The preliminaries of this exploratory course include the following: 1) discussion of the relevance of the course; 2) explanation of key concepts relative to the course, and 3)
exploration of career opportunities.

Course Requirements In order to pass this course, a student must be able to obtain a rating of at least 75% derived from the following fulfilled requirements:
